The Voices Within

Plot: 

The tension between angels and demons has always been there since both races came to be. The reason? Their different philosophies on mana and how they use it to cast magic.

One thinks they are better for using mana in its purest form, while the other prides themselves in being able to control the mana infused nature.

The only ones left behind are the humans – the only race that can't use mana, let alone sense it. That fact alone is the reason why humans have been forced to submit to the other two, always being at the others mercy. There have been wars to determine which race would get to rule over the humans, with the winners being the angels.

Our story starts with Arryn, a hunter who takes care of the children in an orphanage. At first, he seems like an ordinary human, but he is hiding the fact that he's able to hear manas voice and use a little bit of magic. He knows the knights have been looking for him for that reason and he does his best to hide. Leo, who also has been living in the same orphanage, joined the knights for the sole purpose to be able to warn him if they ever got too close to finding him.

One day, the two save a little boy in the woods and Arryns secret is being discovered and brought to a researcher, who strikes a deal with him.

What is that deal? Why does he want Arryn? Might the answer be hidden in the memories of his childhood he has forgotten?

There are many questions whose answers he and Leo will gradually learn.

While he's doing that, they also band together with both angels and demons to investigate recent mana outbreaks that leave the areas they happend in a ruined and dangerous place, impossible for life to ever flourish again.

This is a tale of one not-so-ordinary human with amnesia traveling alongside humans, angels and demons and finding out what is causing the recent disasters, how to prevent them and how he is involved in all of this.

Features:

- Battle mechanics inspired by rock-paper-scissors. Find out which type the enemy is weak to or immune. You can also change the enemies "Type".
- Crafting and cooking.
- a Skit system like in the "Tales of" games.  Learn more about the characters through group chats
- Partly voiced cut-scenes.

Tips:

- You can change the resolution of the game by pressing F5 or F6.
- It's recommended to watch the Skits, since there will be some questions answered.

Known Bugs:

- During battle, it may happen that the Guard command will cause a crash. The reason for this is unknown. Therefore, it's recommended to save often.
